What is a Knowledge Product?

Knowledge Products (KPs) are usable resources created through research and various modes of inquiry. KPs generate actionable knowledge (or knowledge for action) crafted for singular or multiple purposes and are often created in response to the needs of the people or communities interacting with them. KPs can be publications, documents, infographics, policy reports, guidelines, podcasts, videos, and any other materials or forms of information.

Scroll through this library to find KPs published by Share-Net International members since 2014, through to our most recent grant cycle. From policy briefs and research reports to card games, comics and more, you will find a wide array of free-to-download SRHR resources on this page!

RAHMY: Respectful Abuse-free Humanized Motherhood through Youth-Empowerment

  • Knowledge Activation Grants

2021

  • Egypt

RAHMY is a research project that explores Shared Decision Making (SDM) as a tool in Respectful Maternal Care (RMC). Patient-Centered Care (PCC) has been identified by the World Health Organization as a key aspect in improving the quality of care within an integrated holistic health systems approach. However, there is limited focus on the role Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and youth empowerment play. Recent data from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) have unveiled gaps in gender equity and autonomy in SRHR decision-making. Across the Eastern Mediterranean Region, the decision-making power on SRHR, including maternal health, remains mostly in the hands of men.
