Let’s Talk! is a card game co-created by youth for youth around different topics of sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The goal of Let’s Talk! Is to encourage young people (aged around 14-24) to have open and honest conversations with each other about topics like puberty, relationships, sex and sexuality.

Let’s Talk! is not designed to replace formal education about SRHR nor is it designed to offer all the facts and details about different SRHR topics. Instead, its goal is to create a safe space to talk, discuss and share perspectives and experiences so that young people feel more comfortable voicing their questions and experiences as they move through young adulthood.

Fairspace

Fairspace is based in the Netherlands. They are a part of an international network of grassroots organizations and are powered by a local passionate team, made up of trainers, scholars, policy advisors, and creatives. Fairspace builds safe, inclusive public spaces. Fairspace envisions a society in which everyone in the Netherlands, regardless of sex, race, gender or gender expression, feels safe moving through public spaces.

Fairspace is working to build free and fair public spaces. Whether it’s transforming experiences on our streets, in bars and nightclubs, in schools or in the workplace, Fairspace tailors their workshops to the needs of their partners. Their work focuses on three areas: Education, Co-creation and Policy advice.

Know-How of Early Marriage Prevention

The Institute for Family Health (IFP) has developed a methodology to prevent and reduce child marriage among Syrian and Jordanian girls. Through this methodology, they created a documentary video that showcases the IFP's experience and success story in preventing early child marriage. The purpose is to share their experience with other organizations, enabling them to apply similar strategies within their work to combat this significant violation of human rights.

CSE, teachers and formal and informal curricula: A qualitative analysis on the role of teachers in enhancing young women and men’s SRHR

  • Small Grants

The project aims to gain a better understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of CSE programmes in the Global South, with a focus on the approach taken to address various forms of gender-based violence, including child marriage (Literature review on CSE); investigate the role of teachers and classroom practices in efforts to enhance young men and women’s SHRH, particularly in addressing child marriage in Ethiopia (Case Study in Ethiopia); disseminate knowledge to policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders in Ethiopia and NL by organizing workshops; and strengthen the knowledge generation and dissemination capacity of DEC.
