To Porn, Or Not To Porn? That Is The Question: Addressing the Lack of Comprehensive Sexuality Education in Ethiopia
View knowledge productPartnering with Triggerise, PSI Europe aimed to create a digital sexuality education product tailored for adolescents in Ethiopia. Employing a human-centred design methodology, they delved into Ethiopian adolescent sexual learning, synthesizing insights and prototyping digital solutions to bridge gaps in sexual knowledge. Their focus was on establishing the trajectory of learning on sexual behaviour and devising pertinent solutions to ensure sustained engagement in positive sexuality education among young individuals.
The overall goal of this project was to address growing educational and emotional needs by delivering a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) product.
This project had two distinct phases. The initial phase involved understanding the trajectories of adolescent sexual health in Ethiopia, resulting in the creation of the document “Knowing Rafiki in Ethiopia – Sexual Learning” (available for download below). The subsequent phase aimed to create a digital solution to support adolescent sexual education engagement, the (paper) prototype and results of this can also be downloaded below.
